Global Village Season 31: What's New, Pavilion Priorities and How to Beat the Crowds

Global Village Dubai night

Global Village reopens on Wednesday 14 October 2026 for a season running to May 2027. Here's how to plan your evenings: official opening hours, VIP Pack prices, parking, the quietest nights, smart arrival times and the bus routes that get you there without driving.

The essentials

Global Village opens Season 31 on Wednesday 14 October 2026. The season runs to May 2027, although organisers haven't yet confirmed an exact closing date.

Opening hours

The official Season 31 hours are:

  • Sunday to Wednesday: 4pm to 12am
  • Thursday to Saturday and public holidays: 4pm to 1am

Last season, entry gates closed 30 minutes before closing time. Check the official site for Season 31, and arrive in good time if you're planning a late visit.

What's new for Season 31

The full Season 31 line-up of new additions, shows and attractions hadn't been released at the time of writing. Check the official site for announcements.

How to prioritise pavilions

The Season 31 pavilion list isn't out yet. Once it is, a little planning goes a long way, because no one sees every pavilion properly in one evening.

  • Pick three or four per visit. Regulars treat Global Village as a season-long habit rather than a single night out. Choose a handful of pavilions and do them well.
  • Shop first, browse later. If you're going for specific things, such as spices, textiles, sweets or homeware, visit those pavilions early. Aisles get tighter as the evening goes on.
  • Save the new arrivals for a weeknight. Any newly added pavilion or attraction will draw curious crowds in the first weeks. Visit it on a Monday or Wednesday rather than at the weekend.
  • Plan around the stage. Check the show schedule on the official site. That way you can be near the main stage for the acts you want, instead of crossing the park at the busiest moment.

Best days and times to beat the crowds

Friday and Saturday are the busiest days. Sunday to Thursday is noticeably calmer, although Thursday picks up as the weekend approaches. That makes Monday and Wednesday evenings your safest bets. Remember that on Sundays to Wednesdays the park closes at midnight, while Thursday to Saturday and public holidays run until 1am.

In Season 31, Tuesdays are for families, couples and ladies, except on public holidays. Don't assume a Tuesday will be quiet, though. The rule can still bring big family crowds.

The single most useful tip is to arrive early, around 5pm. You'll be ahead of the ride and food queues, and the heat will have eased by then. Here's a simple weeknight plan:

  1. 5pm: Arrive, park or step off the bus, and grab a snack while the food stalls are still calm.
  2. 6pm to 7pm: Head to Carnaval before the ride queues build later in the evening.
  3. 7pm onwards: Work through your chosen pavilions.
  4. Later in the evening: Catch a main-stage show or the fireworks. Check the schedule on the day for exact times.

Opening night has its own buzz, but if crowds aren't your thing, give it a week or two before your first visit.

Tickets

Season 31 entry ticket prices hadn't been published at the time of writing. Check the official Global Village tickets page for the latest. For reference, Season 30 offered:

  • Any Day ticket: AED 30

VIP Packs

A limited number of VIP Packs go on sale on the Coca-Cola Arena website on 26 October 2026 at 10am. There are six options:

  • Silver: AED 1,890
  • Gold: AED 2,490
  • Platinum: AED 3,490
  • Diamond: AED 7,900
  • Mega Gold: AED 4,990
  • Mega Silver: AED 3,490

Getting there by bus

There's no metro station at Global Village, so if you're coming by Metro you'll need to change to an RTA bus. These are the official routes:

  • Route 102 from Centrepoint Metro
  • Route 103 from Union Metro, via Al Rebat Street
  • Route 104 from Ghubaiba Bus Station, via Max Fashion Metro
  • Route 106 from Mall of the Emirates Metro

Season 31 fares and timetables haven't been confirmed, so plan your journey on the RTA website or app. Pay attention to the last bus back, especially from Sunday to Wednesday, when the park closes at midnight.

Parking

If you're driving, the official plan-your-visit page lists:

  • Free parking: zone P1, plus zone P11 on weekends and public holidays only (about 1 km from the Cultural Gate, with a free shuttle or a rickshaw from AED 10)
  • Paid Parking: AED 120 per day
  • Paid Parking 2: AED 75 per day
  • VIP parking: AED 200 per day

Confirm the current arrangements on the official page before you set off.
