Christmas in Dubai

Christmas is celebrated with a lot of with a great enthusiasm in Dubai. The entire emirate spreads the joy by starting the revels from the 24th December, on the eve of Christmas, and the day is celebrated by importing Christmas trees, pouring artificial snow and hosting special events at different places of the city. People visit their relatives and friends in the morning and are generally served with sugared almonds, coffee and liqueurs. Kubbeh, made of crushed boiled wheat mixed with meat, accompanied with chicken, rice, onion, salt and pepper, is usually served for lunch.
