We had to wait 3 hours before check-in! This is not something you would expect from a 5 star hotel! And our stay just got worse from there. The hotel staff was inattentive and pushy, the food was not worth the price and the bathrooms were unclean!
I do not recommend this hotel

This Egyptian themed restaurant definitely states understated luxury. At first I was a bit apprehensive, thinking that I might I find it a bit tacky for my tastes. But on arriving all my worries were proved wrong.

This was my second stay in Dubai and I’m glad to say it was as pleasurable as the first. The hotel staff was as competent as ever and the food was as good as before, if not better.

WoW. The Raffles hotel has beautiful rooms and classy furnishings. The short distance to the Wali shopping centre was a definite plus. The service was great.

The structure of the Raffles hotel, inspired by the pyramids of Egypt was beautiful. Not only the structure but the hotel staff and the service also deserved a 5 star rating. Will definitely go back again

Raffles is definitely worth a stay. Our stay here was pleasurable though it was difficult to get a taxi. Other than that, we encountered no problems.

Raffles Dubai is undeniably a perfect hotel. Be its decor, buildings, suites, facilities, food, etc. everything is just perfect and it feels great if you are in good company. I remember I had been to Dubai last year with my best buddies as it was an attempt to have more fun together during the recession period to avail the maximum benefit of the low price packages. But hardly anything worthy came to our lot. Never mind we landed up in Raffles as one of my friends was keen to stay there just because of its shape which is inspired by the Pyramids of Egypt. As soon as we entered the hotel, the staff greeted us in an utmost gracious way and kept us at ease throughout our stay. We found that the services at the hotel were offered in such special conduct that the standards did not disappoint and just proves that Raffles truly stands for the title of the 'Best New Hotel Development in the Middle East'(crowned at the Fourth Arabian Hotel Investment Conference in 2008.) Swimming pool was simply incredible with great pool side services. Spa was mostly enjoyed by the female buddies while the top floor club was ok, didn't find that much interesting place to go as it was over crowded. What I personally liked was the direct access to Wafi City mall and facilities like Spa, pool and fitness area of the hotel all packed collectively. The mall has a few good restaurants like the Carters, Ashok and some real good Arabic restaurant. One of my friends had an idea to get the WAFI Mall discount card as it secures discounts on food & drinks that was easily available at the Mall desk. Though the Asiana restaurant at the hotel with a terrace was also good with eye-catching views of downtown Dubai that served a quality meal but it was not as per my taste.

My wife and I had been to Dubai on our honeymoon. It was a surprise package from my close pal Amit where he had made the reservations at the Raffles. A brilliant 5-day stay in a 5-star Raffles was a wonderful experience. This Egyptian style hotel is rightly located between Bastakiah and Dubai Mall. Check-in was flawless where the reception greeted us with a surprise welcome and gave a beautiful souvenir. The location of Raffles Dubai hotel is adjacent to the highway which I could hear from my room but that hardly spoil our disposition. In fact our rooms were lovely, relaxing and superb where we used to get fresh flowers bouquet every morning from our room service boy. Right from the ambiance, amenities, everything was just fabulous where the staff made our stay cozy and memorable. The Pool area was just fascinating with its clock waterfalls, swim up bar, spa and excellent pool service where we captured some beautiful snaps with our digi cam. The choice of restaurants and bars was also extra special. We ate in Asiana and the Noble House restaurants on our room service boy's advice and found that it served excellent and quality food. My wife did like the brilliant setting, etiquette of the staff and the service too. The Wafi Mall was just next to the hotel where we went in the evenings to relax and spend some great moments together but my wife didn't like it. So went for some sightseeing and did some shopping for our loved ones who were way back home. By and large, it was a fantastic trip, made incredible by the hotel staff with the best of hospitality where we both felt if had a chance to go back to Dubai to explore it more, certainly the stay would be at the Raffles...
