"Amazing Hotel"
The hotel promises what it proposes, 4* luxuries. Period. Décor is great, hotel is well kept, and clean, and the facilities available are up to the mark. As I entered the spacious lobby, the check-in staffs greeted me politely and were ready to help me in any way, which I needed. It is not a complaint but the location does rather irritate you. Sheikh Zayed Road is the place to reside when in Dubai, but if you are driving then the detour from one side of the road through Dubai Mall is confusing. Hiring a taxi is preferable, as the taxi-driver knows the way better than we tourists do. Complaints aside, the whole detour thing would not cost you more than 15 mins on your watch even in rush hours. The best part in Villa Rotana is its food. You have the choice of cooking or eating out at the restaurant. The kitchenette is clean and groceries are easily accessible at the supermarket next door. It’s fun cooking when you are with your friends. Restaurant too is great without being overtly expensive. As I was vacationing with my friends, my presence in the hotel was for a minimal period. Anyways, it’s not one of those places where you can hang out for hours. Not to forget, the parking that is large and can be easily reached from the main road.

"A Hotel You Can Trust"
Villa Rotana’s location on Sheikh Zayed Road makes it a great place to stay in Dubai especially for those who visit for business related projects. My last business trip was in August 2009 and it was the perfect choice I could have made. The hotel is spacious, very contemporarily styled with a cheerful atmosphere. I was assigned a suite that was quite comfortable. The interiors were not gaudy and the room had a nice relaxing feel. There was a kitchenette in the suite but as my wife complains, I don’t even know how to boil water. In-room dining saved my day. A personal tip – after a tiring day I would suggest a lap in the rooftop swimming pool.
