We had a quick and a hassle free check in with a welcoming reception staff. The rooms were also pretty decent and service was also above board. The hotel staff also gave us a few pointers for the places to visit in the surrounding neighborhood. Both my wife and I, took full advantage of the pool side bar.

We stayed at this hotel for a week. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff at the reception was attentive and service was quick. The buffet breakfast had a lot of choice and was very good. My twin boys greatly enjoyed cooling themselves in the kiddie’s pool. The Dubai Gold Souk and the Dubai Museum are conveniently located close to the hotel. We traveled to most spots of Dubai, by metro from the Al Rigga station which is very close to the hotel. Overall, this hotel was an enjoyable experience for us. I wouldn’t mind staying at the hotel again.

We had booked the hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and I’m really glad we selected this hotel. The drinks at the pool side bar were a great indulgence, and the food at the restaurant Manhattan was simply delicious. We even tried out the steaks at the Gold Rush steak house and found that we liked it!

I found the Avenue Hotel somewhat lacking in taste. The food was also standard fare. This is not what you would expect of a four star hotel. The hotel staff was also unwilling and resentful, if you asked for assistance. The hotel neighborhood is also not very ideal for sightseeing Dubai. The hotel pool was also not well managed. In all, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, even if it happened to be the last choice on earth!

I stayed at the hotel for two days for a business trip along with my workmates. We had to deliver a presentation and it went pretty smoothly. The conference room was well equipped with modern technology and we didn’t run into any problems during the whole presentation. Our company even managed to snag the deal.
