The pleasant and tranquil ambience of the hotel was a welcome surprise. Close access to the Meena Bazaar and shopping malls was also a great advantage.

The hotel service was exceptional. Rooms were very spacious and well maintained. Although I wouldn’t call it a luxurious hotel, it is pretty decent at the price it is offered. You get what you pay for. Extremely good value for money.

My family trip to Dubai was a bit costlier as compared with estimations. Actually, we had preplanned everything. However, we were not sure about hotels as booking was done by third person. Holidaying in Golden Sands Hotel Apartments was a good experience, but we had hardly used all things. Kitchen was only used for tea / coffee making as we had dinner and lunch outside.

the hotel has good spacious apartments and a relaxing ambience. I found it a great place to unwind to escape from the stress of work. The staff was very courteous and obliging. The pool and squash court was very much enjoyed. All in all a very relaxing experience.

I could not find much fault with the hotel services as such, but there was not much excitement for our 6 & 9 year boys. The location is also not ideal if you want to explore Dubai. We also had a problem with the internet. It kept disconnecting at every hour. I wouldn’t mind coming here on a business trip, but wouldn’t suggest it for families with kids.

The hotel is good for families. It was a bit high for short journey. Kitchen facility was worthless because I used to have my lunches and dinners outside. The hotel staff and workers were friendly and cooperative. However, I hardly stayed in the hotel as I was very busy in my official work.

Oh god!! I had tough time looking for taxi and any other transport facilties. The hotel was average and staff members were well behaved and nice. Satellite TV was not functioning properly although problem was sorted out after a few hours. Other than this, I had a good experience.

Golden Sands Hotel Apartments gave me a feeling of my next home. I got my own privacy. I didn’t have to spend extra money at a specific restaurant for lunch and dinner. I used to prepare my own meals in the kitchen. Although, it was a short holiday, yet I experienced my bachelor life after a long time.

Well, overall its good and clean place to stay for few days. I found it a bit expensive because we were on shopping trip and hotel was close to a mall “Bur Juman Mall”. I had to spend lots of money in transportation and taxi fares. The hotel members were cooperative, but I could not get good transport facilities. I had to struggle a lot to go anywhere.

Very good spacious apartment topped with immaculate services. This is what you can expect at the Golden sands hotel in Dubai. We very much appreciated the tranquil surroundings away from the hustle and bustle of Dubai. The room amenities were in perfect condition. We had a problem with the air-conditioner which was quickly resolved with apologies. I would also consider this hotel for a second visit.

We had our Christmas 2009 celebration where we stayed in Golden Sands 3. It is not a trendy hotel but does have a few good things like the facility to have your own kitchen with all the amenities. Such kind of facility just helps you out when you are with your family, where the different aged individuals have dissimilar likings for food. The 3 star with many apartments to choose from over its several floors in each block initially puzzled us but we managed the one that came to our lot as we had no other choice left due to our last minute reservations. I found the arrangement of cooking facilities quite unsafe and the thought of any misfortune haunted me a little bit. I even questioned about that with the floor manager but he just overlooked my concern. But we were fortunate with the other staff in Golden Sands that was gracious, cooperative and enthusiastic to help by giving directions to different tourist areas of Dubai. The restaurant was not that exciting and had nothing great to offer. The only good thing it had was the cheap apartments that probably go well with a family group. But if your stay in Dubai is going to be for longer period then this is not the right choice as you might want a bit exclusive place.

Recently we had been to Dubai for a 5-day conference. We stayed at the Golden Sands 3 for 4 nights and had the checkout on the 5th day. The bookings were made by our travel agent so we were quite sure about his choice. The rooms of the hotel were spacious, clean and in good conditions. So this time we didn't had any complaints as last time our centre manager was quite upset with the hotel room arrangement on our last trip to Dubai with some other hotel. Golden Sands hotel offered kitchen services but we hardly needed the facility. On the other hand the laundry services were required on a daily basis to which the staff and the room service acted promptly and did their duty well. Our manager even gave a tip to concierge. Though the location of the hotel wasn't in amazing area, we preferred to stay there as our conference venue was only a 20 mins drive from it. Also a 10-15 mins walk to the nearby mall in the evenings was possible for the ladies workmates that accompanied us. Even they found it good and took a taxi that was available in the hotel vicinity at cheap rates to a small local mall in close proximity. To our surprise the food over there was also found quite reasonable as compared to our North America business trips and we wondered about the Middle East though it was good and mouth-watering, especially the Arabian styled cooked food.
