Description
Situated around 100 metres from the Souk Madinat Jumeirah and around 5 kilometers from the Palm Island, Burj Al Arab is linked from its mock island to the Dubai main land through a private bridge. Standing 1050 ft above the sea level, Burj al Arab is the world’s second tallest building solely operated as a hotel. Lavishly decorated in bold stones, the hotel offers an indoor and outdoor swimming pool; swim up bar, private beach, health spa and massage treatment rooms, steam room, fitness equipment, library, hair salon and a pool table. There is an amphitheatre on the 27th floor of the hotel. There are also well furnished meeting and conference rooms on the 27th floor. In addition to this Burj Al Arab also provides a complimentary wireless internet connection and computer rentals. Transport to the airport via helicopter or limousine can be arranged.
Burj Al Arab serves excellent pan-Asian cuisine. Al Muntaha is one of the famous restaurants inside the hotel. Its seafood restaurant, Al Mahara can be reached through a submarine. The journey can be enjoyed with an admirable view of a large seawater aquarium made of acrylic glass. Also the restaurant’s cocktail bar provides a panoramic view of the Jumerah Beach Shoreline.
There are around 202 air-conditioned guest rooms stretched across the 27 floors of the hotel. Adorned with vibrant tones, Burj Al Arab provides separate living areas inside each and every room. Moreover, every room has dining tables and beautiful sea views. Services include safes, jetted tubs, mini bars along with satellite television with pay movies, direct dial phone with voicemail and fax machines.

The shoddy service and the uncaring attitude of the staff totally ruined our stay. We had high hopes from the Burj Al Arab and were totally let down. It has been hyped in the media as a 7 star hotel but I’ve stayed in 3 star hotels with better service. Granted, the structure of the hotel itself is awe inspiring and the rooms have awesome views, but that should not compromise on the quality of service!

Burj Al Arab was definitely a memorable experience. This hotel has a lot of WOW factors. The hotel staff was great. Is lavish and expensive but Burj Al Arab is not a hotel where you you watch your pennies.

I have spent only two days in this hotel and I felt that the place was very luxurious but over-priced. I had come to meet my friend who was about to get married and he had suggested to stay here. No doubt, the interior is magnificent and makes you feel like a king of the kingdom as soon as you enter the hotel. On the first day, I was really very happy with the service provided by the front desk, while checking in, and the private concierge and the housekeeping but on the second day, a guy from the housekeeping disappointed me by not cleaning my room properly and bringing my breakfast too late. Also, I did not like the food so much. It was presented elegantly but had no taste and was over-priced.

Its my dream hotel from Dubai. And during my last business trip, I could fullfill it. My boss allowed me to stay here for 1 night. Oh GOD!! what a hotel... just no words to describe.. but I tell you one thing, looking at the menu card, I didn't eat anything over there.. whatever was free, i had it :). If you have tonnes of money then you will really enjoy it!!

The architecture of the hotel is truly awe inspiring. The building represents a ‘dhow’ an Arabian vessel. The gold, satin and glitter used in the rooms may not be everyone’s cup of tea. It may leave you a bit overwhelmed. Burj Al Arab is definitely the hotel to go for those who appreciate opulence and luxury.

Its beautiful, no other words to describe it!!! The rooms are completely glittering with satin, silk and gold and the decor is truly overwhelming. Every room is big and spacious. We had occupied 3 rooms as there were 6 of us. I enjoyed the Assawan Spa, though I had said no at first, my friends then persuaded me saying that you will enjoy it and it was indeed relaxing and enjoyable. On our first day, we dined at the Al Muntaha. One of my friends was not eating anything but was enjoying his beer staring over stunning views of the ocean. If you love seafood then you can surely try it at the Al Mahara, the fish is really delicious and mouthwatering.
