The roof top pool was a pleasure but it would have been better without the distraction of the planes which landed every now and then at the airport. Other wise, all in all, our stay was an enjoyable experience.

All the restaurants were great! I particularly enjoyed the blue lagoon with it’s live music every evening. Was a treat for my taste buds and a balm to my ears!

The JW turned out to be the perfect romantic getaway for us. The food, services and the facilities were all up to the mark. May not be the best place for those who want to explore Dubai though, as it is located far away from the main Dubai attractions.

The service, restaurants and even the rooms were good. The only drawback was the location which was far from the main attractions. However, this did not bother us too much as the taxi fare was reasonable.

My JW Marriott experience is not somewhat everybody would agree with, for it is a reputed five star hotel. However, the story is true and the most horrifying one. It was beyond my imagination that I could even find a cockroach roaming around in the room. It was a business trip but I had taken the family along so even they could have some fun time. But my 3 year old kid froze with fear after seeing a cockroach. When I told the management they profusely apologized but they wouldn’t change my room neither did offer me any discount. The food was bad to say the least for I found the buffet breakfast to be stale. Complaining had no effect on the staff so I just left it at that. Next time I come to Dubai, swear I wouldn’t check in to JW Marriott Dubai.

Completely agree with anyone who says that JW Marriott is the best 5 star hotel in the world. Staying in this hotel is one of the best experiences of my life. The service was superb; the staff services impeccable and the restaurant food tantalizing. It was all like a dream come true, which we wished never ended. The hotel is close to the airport and it requires just thirty minutes to reach the hotel. Ours was an overnight flight and we could freshen ourselves right before breakfast time. We were in Dubai to celebrate our second anniversary and when the receptionist realized this she instantly upgraded us to a suite. The rooftop swimming pool is one of the most romantic places for a date especially under the twinkling stars. Traveling to the hub of Dubai in taxis is relatively cheap. However, beware of the private taxi’s, they charge you nearly double of normal fares for a slightly better car. Nothing is luxurious about the car. We have been to Dubai before but this has been our best visit just because of the hotel choice.
