Our overall Dubai experience was excellent, but we had to struggle a lot for cheap transport. The cab fares were a bit high and expensive. Therefore, we had to use a bus to move hither thither. We did not get any problems while staying in Sheraton Diera Hotel. However, we had to pay extra charge for internet.

I would rate four out of five if I would have to stay with my family. However, it was completely rubbish concerning business tip. The hotel used to charge extra money for internet access, which was completely unbearable. However, the hotel staff members were good and well disciplined.

Staying in Sheaton Diera Hotel was a good experience. I was very happy that I stayed close to the airport which was hardly 15 minutes away. I would give seven out of ten for service. Staff workers were very friendly and cooperative. The buffet breakfast was fine.

Everybody complains about the noisy ambiance of the Sheraton Deira, but I prefer to choose it just because of its easy accessibility from the airport. I stayed here for almost three times and was really overwhelmed on the whole with the hotel services, attentive staff and the simple and good food. Actually I prefer Dubai mostly for shopping. Thus each time whenever I land up in Dubai I go back to Sheraton Deira hotel because by now the Concierge and check-in and the staff of the hotel has become quite friendly to me. Also the kindness offered there ensures all my needs efficiently and on time. Hence each time I prefer to stay there as I travel mostly alone. At the hotel I did enjoy the rooftop pool for its beautiful and tranquil ambiance whenever I felt hectic due to my extensive traveling to the shopping malls and the tourist spots. I even had an easy and trouble-free access to the computers in the club lounge with printer and internet access. Sometimes I heard other guests all night talking, walking past and attending phone till the wee hours but that hardly made me felt insecure because I felt homely at the hotel. For quick salon services I used to visit the nearby beauty parlor across the road. It is a really good parlor that proves helpful when you are in a hurry.

Land of Dubai which is known for Arabian hospitality has many things to offer. Sheraton Deira hotel is one such hotel wherein you do get mixed experiences amid the numerous hotels that are available to impress you with all the tricks and tactics. Basically I prefer a survey first before making a final selection but I did find Sheraton Deira a decent hotel even though I landed there without any prior search. But soon the reality bites made its appearance when I reached it, as I found the four star hotel in an almost wrong location i.e. on the flight path to the airport affecting its serenity. Though my colleagues did acknowledge it for its easy accessibility from the airport. We were about to change our flights from Dubai and had plans to stay at this hotel for only one night to just relax and have a quick glance to the nearby surroundings. We were totally dependent upon the staff for the choice of bed and breakfast as it was our sudden and unplanned stay. The amount of time we spent in the hotel was not much where we found the ambiance quite noisy, certainly because of the airplanes overhead. Also the refurbishments in the backdrop kept the whole atmosphere a bit earsplitting. In some way we did manage to have some relaxing moments at the bar (Lindbergh's) on the 5th floor that serves decent cold beer on tap and bar meals and left the hotel the next morning as we were headed for our next flight. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to a more planned and organized stay for my next visit to Dubai, till then just hope the Sheraton Deira finish up with all its transformation and I too get used to the jangle..lol
