The rooms have amazing views of the creek. The Indian and Japanese restaurants offer really great food. This hotel may seem a bit old and outdated, compared with the newer hotels of Dubai, but I feel, it’s still worth a stay.

After seeing this hotel many times on adds, we wished to stay in the hotel to see it. Hotel is old but still maintained well, normal room fare was reasonable. This was an exceptional experience of staying in this hotel, as we have traveled a lot and stayed in different hotel but this hotel was best. Front desk was cheerful and eager to help customers. Hotel is located in center of town and is on best place if you really want to avoid traffic. Only thing you need to be careful about is not to take private taxi as they try to rip you off with additional costs.

My room was not ready when I arrived for check in. I had to wait for at least an hour while they prepared my room. The staff was not courteous enough to even offer refreshment for the time and no one apologized for the inconvenience. Wouldn’t you expect better treatment from a five star?

Got collected from the airport in a Porsche Cayenne, had fabulous breakfast at the Vivaldo restaurant, enjoyed eating at the Indian and Japanese restaurant. Overall the Sheraton hotel was a delightful experience.

Ashiana, one of the best rated Indian restaurants in Dubai was an instant hit with us. The food was absolutely fabulous and delicious! On top of that, the buffet breakfast at the Vivaldi restaurant had an enticing selection of food.

Our room had a beautiful view of the creek. The food we tried out at the Indian and Japanese restaurant was excellent. We also enjoyed walks to the gold/spice souqs past the Deira wharves.
