Things to do in Dubai- Explore the Underworld

Try the fairly untrodden path and explore the underwater world around Dubai. Have the out-of-the-world feeling by swimming with the fishes and other aquatic animals and carry it in your heart forever.
1) Dibba Island

The island is filled with corals of different sizes and shapes. The reefs start forming at a depth of 15 meters and are structured in myriad colours. Aquatic creatures such as turtles, Clownfish, Jawfish, sharks, etc. swim past you, making the experience unearthly.

2) Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo

3) Shark Island

You have guessed it right! The highlight of this spot is the Black-tipped reef sharks. The chances of spotting a shark are very high here, also has an added advantage the nearby shore is good for picnics and lazing before and after plummeting into the cool waters.

4) Martini Rock
 
This multi-coloured coral projection lies close to the coast and is ideal for a night dive due to its ease of navigation, and closeness to the land. The location can be reached easily through a speed boat.

Depth: 3-22 metres

5) Car Cemetery

This artificial reef was created by sinking more than 20 cars and trucks. The vehicles are now fully covered with marine life and at times seem truly eerie to see tiny fishes dart through it.
