Dubai and opulence are synonymous. Extravagant architectures, lavish residences, man-made islands, the list is endless. Now the emirate is on its way to capturing the multi-million dollar glamour economy, which until now was within the sole reach of European, American and Japanese markets.
This year, Dubai is back with a bang with the Season 3 of the biennial fashion week-style event, Fashion Forward. Organised by BRAG with support from Dubai Design District, in the event, some of the most notable designers from the Middle East will present their latest collections to consumers, buyers and the media. To be held from April 10-13 at the Madinat Jumeirah Fashion Forward Season Three will have few designers who had already participated in previous years, in addition, some brands making their event debut. Some of the famous names to take centre stage are London-based Saudi designer Lamia Asudari with her Asudari Studio, Zareena Yousuf, well known for her label Zareena and Lebanese designer Jean Louis Sabaji. Along with inspiring catwalk presentations, Fashion Forward (FFWD) will include numerous conferences and discussion panels led by experts from the industry.
