Dubai Autodrome

The Dubai Autodrome is one of its kind 5.39 km motorsports circuit located in Dubailand, Dubai, opened in 2004, for the final round of the 2004 Formula Renault V6 Eurocup season. The Dubai Autodrome is one of key elements of the Dubai Motor City which includes residential units, business towers, motor-sports facilities, retail and a theme park. Other than the Dubai Autodrome, the Dubai Motor City plan also includes UpTown MotorCity, Green Community MotorCity, Business Park MotorCity and F1-X Dubai. Of its major achievements, Dubai Autodrome has been applauded for hosting the FIA GT Championship from 2004 to 2006 and the A1 Grand Prix in December, 2005. It was also a part of the hit TV reality show ‘The Amazing Race’ Season 15′s Fast Forward task.

Facilities at Dubai Autodrome:

The 5.39km track at the Dubai Autodrome with a combination of high-speed straights and technical corners is one of the most modern as well challenging race tracks in the world. While the Autodrome consists of six different configurations, it is capable of allowing three separate circuits to function simultaneously and that too safely.

Along with offering an unmatched experience at its racing track circuit, the Dubai Autodrome is also the first FIA-sanctioned circuit built as per its strict guidelines. Visitors at the track or hiring the venue will be satisfied by incorporation, because of the features  like wide asphalt run-off areas, digital surveillance system to provide a complete update of the race tracks to the Safety control room which is recorded on hard disk drives.

In case of medical emergencies, the a world-class Medical Centre is situated behind the Pit area for immediate first aid care. Necessary facilities like Pit Complex, Race/Safety Control Room, Timekeeping Room, Media Centre, VIP Suite and Stewards Room all face the grandstand in a two-storied modern complex.

VIP’s at the Dubai Autodrome are entertained to a majestic seating like no other in luxuriant VIP suites with a view of the cars speeding away just a few meters from the stand.

Track Days: Track Days are separated into days/evenings for cars and motorcycles when they test their vehicles on a smooth, race track without the hurdles and risks of a public road. To drive in a completely safe environment, avid motorcyclists and driver with necessary papers and license can hire the track for a personal experience or for competitive purposes. Other safety equipment and body wear is available at the venue.

Kartdrome: Kartdrome is the place which offers the experience of leisure kart driving for any able bodied driver above the age of 7. The 1.2km international standard circuit at the Kartdrome is available to companies and groups to entertain their clients and also to kids who want to climb the first step in car racing. There are other entertaining & competitive activities available for kids and families such as the Laserdome, SWS Spring Racing, 12 & 24 hours Endurance Championships and Dubai Autodrome Motorsport Club (DAMC) Championships.

Motorsport: The highlight of DAMC is the hosting of major motorsport championships like Suzuki Swift Summer Camp, Dunlop 24H of Dubai, UAE Sportbike / GT / Sports Cars / Touring Cars Championships etc.

Other than attending similar adrenaline rushing events, visitors can exclusively hire the Dubai Autodrome for testing, launches, media events, conferences, exhibitions, meetings, team building activities etc. The track of the DA is also safe for sporting activities like cycling, jogging, roller blading and skating.
